You also might try to see if you have overridden the template. Go into the Admin Panel -> Templates. Select your theme (on the left), then select 'modules' and then continue to 'drill down' to see if you can find the template you're looking for to be able to delete it.

Another option to see if this is the problem is to change your site theme and see if the 'correct' block template appears there. This will also help you narrow down if the template is being overloaded.

Its because you use the wrong handler son, you need to use the xoops_getmodulehandler function instead. ;)

I'm developping a module with comments enable feature.

At first, it worked fine, but now, the comments won't save due to a "No valid token found in request/session" error. It is the same with everything that needs a token like profile update.

When I output the $_POST and $_SESSION vars, I can see the token var in $_POST but there is only xoopsUserId and xoopsUserGroups in $_SESSION. It does the exact same thing when I manually enter a $_SESSION var.

What I've done wrong?
Is there a security thing that flush the $_SESSION var when something happens?

Ok, now it's crystal ! As I was inserting 2 as level value, I could have been waiting and coding a long time..

So now, the module behaves as expected ! I got to test it on a production server as I don't have mail function on my workstation. The next step is to get the process automatized at each registration.

I did see the "when the query returns an array" from the pdf but I didn't think it could apply as it isn't a multidimensional array : I'm really a new newbie !

This sounds like a reasonable approach. You'll also need to make sure that both XOOPS and the 'other' system use the same encryption/decryption method for the password.

Hello,

Thank you for the tip, but I have already tried that.

The code is gone now. It turns out that I had a print statement in the /templates/file.php which blocked the working of the script.

Also I have learned that I need to upload the module in the admin pages to see the changes.
Which is strange as I don't have to do this local.

Anyway it seems to be working now.
