I think that the current theme is not bad, really.
My personal opinion about any responsive design is that its not suitable for multicontent, multitext and big info site at all. Responsive design is for presentation sites, designer, pictures, videos and etc.
One new theme is very very hard work, not just from volunteers, needed real professionals :)

Great review. Its so real - most people who use the internet and at the fist sign of a road block they start to freak and stress and start to click buttons in the hope that it will guide the, if only they just read what was in front of them and followed a few easy to read instructions.

Same problem here with the search field but fast reply looks normal... IE9 shows no issues for as far as I know.

The standard profile program that is included with xoops allows for custom fields and should work for this without issue. You just have to figure out the syntax for adding the right thing.

is this "TYPE=MyISAM" in the module install sql necessary? I have also a lot of problems with this line. sometimes it needs to be changed to "ENGINE=MyISAM".
if this is not necessary then all old modules should be updated and this line should be deleted
