Hi,I am very grateful for xoops.org offering the xoops modules for free,now my website got a problem that my website has been registered by malicious useres sending trash accounts that cause the number of members increased a lot at suddenly.I rent a website host with Linux system for mine to run,and I am using xoops version 2.5(chinese) ,please help me resolve following questions:
1.Do you have appropriate modules of registration form and confirmation code for my webside using?
2.Are there any methods to solve this kind of problems?

Just follow the steps in this post

You can also change the settings in new registration approval, by changing it from the "user email" to "administrators"

Go to:
YOUR-URL/modules/system/admin.php?fct=preferences&op=show&confcat_id=2

and change the "Select activation type of newly registered users" from:
"Requires activation by users (recommended"
to:
"administrators"

Then it will be up to you who you approve as a user, but it might take a lot of work to do it, if you are getting a lot of registrations.

Dear Moderator,thanks for your respose,I am grateful.There is a senior xoops user here taught me that if I upgrade my website xoops2.5 version into xoops2.5.6 then it can be worked.Is it feasible to resolve this kind of problem?

You can stop the registrations already by following the steps I've mentioned earlier:
