I need help, my xoops site, yesterday stopped working, and disappeared for 10 minutes.
later when he returned back to work, I could not add new news, or new video, I can not change the locks, in short I can not update my website, has stopped counting the readings.

I deleted caches (xoops-date) and I cleaned the table xxx-session, I formatted the PC even, but nothing.

could someone please help me?

You should talk to Host company to see if they change anything on your server.

What version of XOOPS do you use?

I have talked with hosts, but they have not touched anything, the site has stopped working there when I was surfing the normal, and not the first time, has already happened in the past, just still working, not this time, for example when I write a newsa and I click the button "Submit", sending me into the home, and for video sends me a blank page,
I use XOOPS 2.5.1a

Websites don't stop working out of nothing. There is always a reason for it. It could be:

- the host updated PHP or MySQL
- you've added a new module and have made some changes to the configuration
- you've been hacked
- the database has been corrupted

You can try to optimize/repair the database and see if it helps

In Admin go to the "Maintenance" section, in the "Table Maintenance" select ALL the tables on the left, select the "optimize" choice on the right, and click the "Submit" button, and XOOPS will do it for you.

Re: Help Me !!!!

(I prefer good old way of using CPanel and phpmyadmin)

you don't need to know
go to phpmyadmin from your cpanel
select database
run:
1. Analyze
2. Optimize
3. Repair
on all tables
