New Users Display Block Persistence

Hello
Is there a settable time limit that will cause new users listed in the "New Users" block to drop out after period of time, or are these supposed to flush out only when other new users sign up? If settable, where does that parameter get set?

In the edit of the block, there is an option for how many.
The block shows always the last x users.
If you want a time, then you have to add an additional criteria (and eventually option) in /modules/system/blocks/system_blocks.php

Thanks ghia, thats fine the way it is. Just seeking clarification. If traffic starts to sink to embarrassing levels, then I will consider a timed approach so existing users won't see the same old names for an extended period.
