I have a website designed by someone for me it used XH Forum ver1.23 module for the forums.
Question1: There are buttons called "Editer" "Efacer" and "Respondre" - how do I change the language to English on these buttons??

Question2: In the forum the question and responses are no seen as a thread but require me to click on each response one by one - How can I seen a thread with question and all answers or say first 10-20 answers on one page?

akelkar, welcome on the XOOPS forum!

1) check the languages directory in the module directory. There should be a subfolder called english. In one of the files, there will be some french texts left. Edit this file, translate the texts and save the file.

2) If another layout is possible, check the module preferences or some user menu (dropdowns?).
