General Settings No Effect

So I uploaded some themes switched to the one I wanted and made the others selectable in preferences through admin. However the theme doesn't change and the others aren't selectable..But the other preferences seam to be working..tried updating module too.

what XOOPS version do you use?

works now i changed the theme options then updated module. and then changed them to what i wanted them again and updated module thanks though
