html & tags such as [img] are not being read, they are showing up as text. The only thing I wcould find searchingg was a problem with Frameworks which I have alread reinstalled. I did debug & got:

[Code removed by Moderator (JAVesey) for users own good. See post below ]

Not sure what all that means but am hoping someone does :)

Thanks, Sea

Tere are no errors in your post.
But there are some email addresses, you want to remove them.
Which XOOPS, Frameworks and module versions are you using?

Is Sigs a module?
Or do you mean signatures?
If Yes, did this problem start, after you have done modifications to it?

It means that you've just posted posted a sql query from your site which gives your md5 password hash. Post moderated for your own benefit. Let's hope it was removed before someone unscrupulous uses it.

You can thank Vaughan for his email alerting me to it

You can only use bbcode.

It isn't accepting BBC either. Please gp to my site at http://petsgalore.atlantisdesign.org/userinfo.php?uid=1 to see what I mean. The link go strait to my profile.

And this Forum Post is a test in the forum wwhere a portion of the code in my sig shows up great , just like it should as a part of a post, but the signature in that same post with the same code doesn't work. :(

I found this in another post...

Quote:
As DJ says, you need to make sure that HTML is enabled in each forum. If newbb1 is like the current version (CBB 3.08) then you'll need to do this for each forum individually.

You can get CBB 3.08 from DJ's site here:
http://xoopsforge.com/modules/wordpre ... get-latest-xoops-modules/

You will also need the latest Frameworks and xoopseditors. You can get these from the same site.

To update:

1. Delete the current newbb directory from your server. DO NOT uninstall the module first as this will remove all your Forums/posts, etc. Then......

2. Upload the new stuff exactly as follows:

xoops_root/class/xoopseditor
xoops_root/Frameworks
xoops_root/modules/newbb (CBB's directory is still called newbb)

Be patient; these are quite large uploads, especially the xoopseditor package.

3. Login as Admin, go to System>Modules and update the newbb module.

This will give you CBB 3.08 and preserve your exisiting Forums and posts

As always, backup your database before doing something as significant as this.
