About XOOPS Translation, I have been working on esxoops svn.
However, I talked with DJ about XOOPS translations.

So I created a new branch on XOOPS SVN called XoopsLanguages/
All XOOPS webmaster or XOOPS Translation Team must will work in it. (If you want)

http://xoops.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/xoops/XoopsLanguages/

Best regards
Julio

Wery good idea!!

But I'm stuck at SVN.
Can You make a short how-to or link to one.

You have created
braches
releases
trunk

How do You want to organise the folders?

releases/language/core
releases/language/modules
(language is Your own language)

Or shoud it be

language/braches/
language/releases/
language/trunk/

A guideline for namingstandard would also bee great.
module_version_language_version
this is just a proposal

How are the others doing, e.g. Joomla or Drupal? What are the Best Practices?

However i think i have to read it about 600 times before i understand it all...

We are suppose to downlad and install TortoiseSVN first, right?

TortoiseSVN it's pretty much all you need to manage your files.

Setting up the structure in a logical way is a different story - ask DJ for advise.

But to manage files, TortoiseSVN is awesome!

I think JulioNC should talk to DJ about this as it seems he has experience with it... then we will follow... Does DJ has access to these forums so he can help us out here...

He has access, but I don't know if he has the time to read them.

Just ask him for advise, but I would suggest to see Joomla, Drupal, and others to see how they are doing it, so we don't reinvent the wheel

I agree, no need to change something that works... Julio, can you discuss the structure with DJ?
