After my hack I found an old backup. So I deleted everything on my server because of a virus that was uploaded and than uploaded my backup.

Question: I have a certain module that I'm interested in getting back. Now I have it uploaded to the server, and can someone please explain the exact steps in getting this module back up and running?
I can call my server and get them to restore the database for MySQL would that work???

You are going to need to give a lot more information or explain more carefully what the problem is to get help - what module? What XOOPS version? If the module is uploaded properly you should be able to install it as usual for all modules - please check the documentation and faq's on installing modules if you are unsure of how to do this.

Restoring the database as you seem to be thinking would restore all of your site provided you have a backup - is that what you need when you are having a problem with just one module???
