I uploaded them but they arenot showing up in the modules part of admin.

One is showing up but even that is duplicating itself...

I have the structure right, its working on another of my websites.

Also where can i download the 'mypage' module, the links i have found are dead.

Hi Johmo - If they are not showing up then you have not unziiped and maintained the folder integrity correctly in the upload process. Some modules can be buried quite deep in a folder tree on download.

Double check what you have done against this:
For Visual tutorials please go here

Please also make sure you are using modules compatable with the version you are using.

Can't link you to 'my page' but a google search of XOOPS module my page should. (our search has a three character limit) - if thats no good try mypage as one word. HTH

the few mypage links i found were dead.

I dont understand, the modules work on another copy of XOOPS exactly the same layout as now.

I'll try and delete them and upload them again.

If you have uploaded newer versions or a module that makes use of Frameworks, you will need to upload that for some modules to show in admin.

Also, I have found a FEW modules that wipe out the whole available modules list in 2.0.16. Post a list of the ones you uploaded and I'll see if I recognize any of them as troublemakers.

(I have tested hundreds of modules in the past 3 months of work.)

Urgh, i uploaded newbb 3.05 again and it is still not showing up.

Ie xoops_version and index php files are dirctly in the 'newbb' directory in the modules.

Frameworks folder is in XOOPS main directory with art and xoops22 folders in.

Removing newbb and having the remaining modules reappear is a sign that Frameworks is the problem - which version of Frameworks have you uploaded and which version of XOOPS are you using?

Frameworks has a xoops_version.php file in its root.
