CBB 3.05 can't reply or post

Hi,

I have a problem with my CBB forum I can view all fine, but when I try to post, A basically white page comes up with the words

"The forum contains a lot of posts with a lot of useful information.

In order to keep the number of double-posts to a minimum, we would like to ask you to use the forum search before posting your questions here."

usually that is in a green box from memory but now this is displayed on a blank white page with no option to enter text anywhere.

I am using 2.0.15.

Does anyone have any ideas or things I should check.

I have uploaded CBB again etc done all the easy things I can think of.

Cheers....Darin ;o)

I had something smiliar when I had upgraded from many versions to the latest..my problem was the catergories and fourm tables were mis-aligned fixing that by setting a new forum and catergory which i set as 0 and 1 as the default was, fixed it...

make sure you have your plugin.dist.php set to plugin .php and adjust the settings...see if your forum syncs..if you get an error may be the same; other then this unsure?

I'm having the same problem. New install of 2.0.15. New install of CBB 3.05. No data imported.

In ADMIN section:
If I try to create or edit a category I get a blank page.
If I try to edit a forum I get a blank page.

In forums as a user:
If I try to edit an existing message (there is one there by default) I get a blank page.
If I try to reply I get a blank page.
If I try to post a new message I get a blank page.

I have deleted all files from templates_c. Did not fix.

I have renamed plugin.dist.php to plugin.php and made a change to the editor line per Wizanda's recommendation. Did not fix.

I have turned on debug for the site per standard white page instructions. No errors are reported as noted at the top of the debug report:
When replying: errors (0) queries (31) blocks (5) extra (0) timers (5)
When posting new message: errors (0) queries (27) blocks (5) extra (0) timers (5)

I'm at a loss. What else can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance!!!

I had the same problem after upgrading to the latest version of Frameworks, and solved it by deleting the xoops22 folder under Frameworks. I am using 2.2.3 though.

I have CBB3.0.5 on XOOPS 2.0.15. After installing the aChat with its block in the forum right side, I had a blank page when trying to reply or post a new topic. I disabled the aChat and everything were fine again.

This may be an editor issue. Make sure you have the right editor selected. See this post.

I also removed the XOOPS Partner and the XOOPS Members while I debug. They were giving some error messages.

This message is set in your PREFERENCES about midway down in the CBB. You can turn this message off and/or change the message.

Doesn't fix our problem however.

With NEWS, I had a problem getting a posting area because a default editor was selected that I did not have installed.

Also not the addition they made to the instructions. The last line tells us to check for a new Frameworks file and install that.

Editor change instructions are here:

Source for the instructions below is here:

===========================
Bugfix version with no new feature.

Update/Install guide:
1 upload the /Frameworks/ (make sure to remove /Frameworks/xoops22/ if you are using XOOPS 2.2*) and /modules/newbb/
2 upload /class/xoopseditor/ (need to download separately from http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/forum/forum.php?forum_id=1504)

Download:
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1001

For any bug report or feature request, visit http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?newbb

Note:
the module requires /Frameworks/, plz always use the latest verion of Frameworks:
