Hi, i have installed the latest version of XOOPS(as of 5/12/06) on a Mac OS X 10.3 Server. the MySQL version is whatever comes with OS X, which i believe is 4.0 .

Everything seemed to install fine, but when I try to log on remotely from another pc within my LAN, i get to the login page, but when putting in my credentials i get an error page, and i noticed it is trying to redirect to http://localhost/user.php instead of of the correct IP or URL where user.php is.

where do i go to fix this? thanks in advance.

mainfile.php

Change xoopsurl to the ip address or hostname of the machine with XOOPS on it.

thanks for the reply. here is a silly question. when you say change the mainfile.php to the correct IP or hostname of the machine with the database(which is the OSX server), if i put the private IP address of the server (192.168.0.95) or the hostname that wont work for users outside my LAN right? people hittin it from interent?
