Hello all Xoopers,

I am trying to make a google search page apart from xoops, which users can use as their "Browser Home Page"

Below the Google search box I like to display the XOOPS mylinks (addresses) module content. Just the content/mein Links page, no XOOPS menus headers etc.
Then if someone clicks on the content I like him to be taken inside my XOOPS frame displaying the result of his link.

Anybody done something like that?

One idea I could think of is to have 2 themes on the site - and have a very stripped down theme with no other columns for your search page, and a more conventional one for your main page... perhaps something based on the Kubrick themes?

hmm interesting.

If I do it your way I could also display some blocks right?
Like a news or random image block.

Here is a hardcoded sample page of what I am trying to do.

The quick, dirty and stupid way of doing this (which is why I came up with this) is to use some good old fashioned HTML (anyone remember that ) and use either a frame or an iframe to display one or the other content.

I'm sure there are very good reasons why you should not do this, but it will work....
Don't follow me, I'm lost too!
