Banner management - can I have control of 4 different banners?

I am using 2.0.13.02

I have two questions concerning banners:

1. It seems the banners rotate randomly. Is there any way to make one banner show 2.5 times as often as another or? And I plan to have for instance 4 different banners on my frontpage. Can this manager control and count click and impressions for all 4? Is there any tutorial for how to set 4 different banners up?

2. I have to give the banner client a login and a password. I did and then I logged out of the site myself to see if I could log in as that client. It wouldn't let me log in in the usual way, so I am wondering for what is that login and password? Where does the client actually log in, and what can they do once they are logged in?

Thx for the help.

hhttp://www.yoursite.com/banners.php

they can view their stats for each banner.

no you can't have 4 seperate, but you can in a way by placing the banner code <{$xoops_banner}> where you want the banner placed.. of course that will rotate through all banners. and no you can't make 1 appear more often than others..

there is a phpadsnew module tho which is based on phpadsnew (what ya know lol) this is a powerful banner management system..

but i much prefer to just install phpadsnew standalone version, and then add the phpadsnew generated banner code to the theme file itself and use phpadsnew to control the banners..

to downloads it goto http://phpadsnew.com

it's easy once you know how.. but i'd suggest playing with it 1st and also read up on the docs on their website being as they wrote it and know more about it..

adding the generated code is easy really, just a copy/paste job into the theme.html

Perfect - thx.

One question now..

I downloaded a theme that I like, but there is no banner on it. You gave me the code to use (is that complete..?) but which file to I add it to and where?

Thx!
