In order to not get an access denied message, I have to give anonymous users access rights to the usermanagement module. Is this normal? If so, can I keep it from showing up in the main menu block?

Also, after enabling the above access, I am still not able to recover lost passwords. I get the following message:

Sorry, no corresponding user info was found

I am entering a valid email address, as I tried to register another user with the same email address and was told that it was already registered.

If you do not want a module to show in the main menu go to System Admin - Modules, Place a 0 in the weight column. This will hide the module link.

HTH.

Thanks. That much worked. Anybody got any ideas on the other issue?

Yes there is but unfortunately still not added as a fix to this XOOPS version 2.0.1.0(1) or make a public announcement of this fix.

Go to:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1198408&group_id=41586&atid=430840
scroll downwards and you'll find a file lostpass file which you can download. This will solve this bug.

Grtz., Shine
