"can be sorted", "search machine": almost every article module has such features

"long article"? As I learn, there is a module capable of unlimited length of articles, at internal test stage. No idea of public available time.

I've spent a gazillion hours on the same quest and have concluded that probably the most robust article management module out there is WF-Section. I also use a Japanese iteration called XF Section. It's a little bit more user friendly. Both are deployed at Hima Ari Canada Online Portal but the site will not be open to the public for another two weeks. The learning curves for both are steep but they have most of the features you could ever want.

I also use a module called simply Articles that is more straightforward and adaptable to more linear projects. You'll find it in use here BC Car-Free, registration required. I kind of regret not finding WF-Section first.

I hope that helps.
