I have deleted original news module. Can you give me location where i can download it again?

Its in the XOOPS full install package. If you still have it on your hard drive it is located in the modules folder.

thats strange..when i try to install the news module on the server it says: Table 'xoops_stories' already exists
Can`t install
What can i do about it?

Did you uninstall the other module, or just delete it?

deleted it by mistake before unloading it from the server

You should just be able to upload, update the module in the module administration page and be back in business.

Some more to do If that doesn't work.

Can`t install
Tried 2 times to load from admin..no luck:(
Soma manual modifications should be done i guess, but what exactly should be done?

Open your database in PHPmyadmin and (first export if you want to save) drop the following tables:

xoops_stories

xoops_stories_files

xoops_topics

I think that should do it.
