Hello.

What's the correct way to uninstall a module (AMS)?

Go to the modules admin page. Uncheck the checkbox by the module, hit submit to deactivate. After deactivation, there is a new icon to the far right, looks like the install icon but with a red dot, click it and uninstall the module.
