I cant seem to create any new forums.
When I click the "Create New Forum" I get the following error.

I'm not an expert of this module but once you will have reinstalled it, can you verify, with phpMyadmin for example, that the table named xoops_bb_forums contains all the fields listed in the sql query ? I'm asking you this because may be the tables are not correctly created when you install the module.

It looks like you were right. All the DB fields were not created.
It appears to be missing the following fields.

Can I just create these fields with PHPmyAdmin?

I uninstalled the module and then re-installed.

Now it seems to work perfectly.
