Frozen Bubble Applet won't load

We're running XOOPS v.2 and have installed FrozenBubble. When we click on the module, we get the banner image fine but the applet won't load.
The error we get is (on various machines, OS and browsers):

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: FrozenBubble

Does anyone have an idea why this may be?

We have the correct jre installed on our local machines.

Grateful for any tips on resolving
