XOOPS: Mantis Bug Tracker for Xoops 2

Hey everyone,

I just modularized the latest version (0.18.0a4) of the Mantis Bug Tracker for use in Xoops 2. This module is for setting up a bug/feature/etc tracker at your site. Available in the downloads section.

I've included a file README_XOOPS with installation instructions (you can do a fresh install, or move a previous installation of mantis to xoops).

If you have any problems, please post on modules forum here. Do not contact the Mantis team - I am not affiliated with them in any way. Thanks.

For anyone who tried to install and got an SQL error... I've fixed in CVS a small problem in the file class/database/mysql/sqlutility.php. Please see my comment in the downloads section for details if you can't access CVS.

Very very nice. Testing it now. Hope you can keep up with Mantis releases at least until the release an official stable 0.18.

Wish I could point the module to a different Database, where my existing Mantis DB resides.

Ideas?

I was thinking about doing that in the future... having 'integrate display', 'integrate users', and 'integrate database' all be selectable options.

I'm pretty busy these days though, so don't expect it very soon .

In the meantime, you could try going to the file core/modules_api.php, and find the function 'module_has_integrated_database', and change to 'false' for xoops. HOPEFULLY, this will correctly look in the config_inc.php for your database settings. This is completely UNTESTED, so please back up your database before trying! If you do try, could you let me know the result? Thanks!

There is now an admin icon available. I've posted download/install details in the downloads section. (The icon and associated fixes will be incorporated into the next release, but it is pretty easy to add on your own in the meantime.)

Love this! Just in time for a team project.

BUT - I get this error: "OPTION: mantis_user_table"
showing up in the header in my userinfo.php page, and the layout of that page is messed up. Ideas?

Yep, this is a known issue... the solution is posted in the comments in the Downloads section. The fix will be incorporated into the next release.

Which fix? I changed the "!empty" line, deleted the template cache file, still shows up. I do not see this issue mentioned in the comments section.

Please excuse me if I am missing something (besides brain cells )
