Modules: Galeria 1.2.6 for XOOPS 2.0 released.

Galeria is upgraded to version 1.2.6 which will now work in xoops version 2.

It is available for download [ HERE ]

Please read readme.txt for details

Also a number of deverlopers are working on another gallery module called x2g, which has a very cool feature that allows users to have their own gallery created and even shared by others.

We will be offering support for these modules athttp://www.uskola.com .

We are also looking for translators for these modules, and please contact me if anyone are willing to help.

What are the class and include folder/files for? The readme only says to upload the uskolaxgallery folder.

1.- You need to unzip the galeria in your XOOPS root
File structure will be

[pathToXoops]/modules/uskolaxgallery
[pathToXoops]/class

[pathToXoops]/include

when correctly placed. only this readme.txt is not need to send

This is one great gallery, thanks a lot, it rocks...

I do have one problem. Users (including me as admin) cannot upload files. The permissions are set to the images folder (to 777) when I browse my computer for a picture it even inserts it in the page, but when I click publish I get an empty page (/index.php) what could be the problem?

You forgot to change your version number in xoops_version.php.

$modversion['version'] = 1.24;

Yes, You need to chmod the folders yourgallery/big and yourgallery/small that probably your server php configuration didn´t allow to make the second folder.

I am working with other developers to try to make a script for it that could connect through ftp and set this up in any server setting up a few lines about ftp connection.

In next few days will be said if we can implement it, because i have tried today a hack to allow it but no good result.

Wait a few days to see if we can implment it.

I thought I had installed ok but now I get only a blank page when I choose the module. Turn on PHP debug and it says:

Notice: Use of undefined constant _MB_USKOLAXGALLERY_DESC - assumed '_MB_USKOLAXGALLERY_DESC' in /home/wcsadmin/public_html/modules/uskolaxgallery/xoops_version.php on line 20

What should I do?

Ah, solved my own problem. After looking closely at more messages I see I failed to install the tables. Strange, I am sure I clicked the button, but after doing it again -- seems to be working now!
