So order it today from O'Reilly or from Amazon

This book covers the whole workflow of building a XOOPS theme from scratch. This is a designer’s guide, so some knowledge of XHTML and CSS is assumed, but PHP know-how is not necessary.

Please note that Insraq donated all proceeds from the book to XOOPS Foundation, so please buy it and recommend it to your friends!

As a XOOPS community we are very proud of this new book, and we appreciate the generosity of Insraq.

Hi all,

I want to say thank you to the developers, designers, moderators and testers of the community. You rock! I cannot finish the book without your contribution to XOOPS.
And I want to especially thank Mamba, who helps me dealing with publishing, Bleekk for reviewing and providing feedbacks.

And I am considering providing all my premium themes for free to those who have bought this book. They are great materials to learn from. And Mamba is handling this with publishers.

All the proceeds from this book will be donated to XOOPS, as I believe it is time for me to give back to the community. I will continue to support this book, providing erratas and answering common questions. I will figure out a way to do this.

Enjoy this book!

Great work insraq.
Now we have the theme book, when can we see the module development book?
We cant deny the one thing alotta guys have had against us here is little documentation.

And yeah I'm kinda ashamed of myself for not giving enough back to XOOPS...

"when can we see the module development book?"

I did start work on a "how to write a XOOPS module" book a while ago, and asked for help, but the feedback was so lukewarm I dropped the idea.

I too have wanted to do the same thing...

We should chat... I am heavy into my classes right now. We have some projects we have to do and I have decided to create things for xoops which require me to figure out how Xoops does things.

I will PM you with my email address and lets chat.
