1). When adding a review it doesn't redirect you, but people keep seeing a blank page namely: reviewbook.php.
2).When you want to edit the review it gives an ERROR:

ERROR: Could not query the database.
Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near ' ratinghostname='my. ip. nr',
ratingtimestamp='1033604465' WHERE lid=1 AND ra' at line 1
) without any problems!
Re: gsdownloads, myReviews, myBooks bug fixes!It tried to simulate this on my production site and on my testbed site, and I can't replicate the error you seem to be having, so I can't tell you what the problem might be. It seems that from the error you pasted in your setup is truncating the names of databases, a problem that I don't seem to be experiencing.
I will add the ability to allow or deny the viewing and posting of review for anonymous and registered users.

When you include a screenshot with the downloads submissions, it shows up with a link to visit.php. The file is dlformat.php.

Ok where in the world is visit.php? LOL!! Im not real sure where it needed to point to. Either that or the file got axed. Just thought you should know.

I meant to fix that before releasing the new "bugs fixed" version. Thanks for pointing it out to me! I think all I need to do is get rid of the link feature around screen shots.

What was visit.php for anyway? Maybe instead of getting rid of the link, what about just changing it to link to the image or the review or something like that. Just a thought I had.

GSDOWNLOADS : Manage Extensions
MYREVIEWS : Manage Rating Categories
MYBOOKS : Manage Extensions
I can't make any changes to values, they all revert to the ( default ) values.. I've been 777 everything trying to find something I overlooked but No luck..
Re: gsdownloads, myReviews, myBooks bug fixes!When I developed the module, I got strange variable errors when I tried to place the flat file for the extensions in the cache folder, so it is in the main folder with the other mod files (e.g. for the gs downloads module it is in the gsdownloads folder) The name of the file is catconfig.php. You need to set the file to read and write in order to change the extension in any of the modules. Neon let me know that this breaks with previous module prootocol, so in the next version, I will be explaining this oddity in the ReadMe file.

I developed the XOOPS modules myBooks, gsdownloads and myReviews for my Web site, and I thought it would be good to offer them to the XOOPS community so others could benefit from my code. This was a wise move because several people came forward to either point out bugs or offer bug fixes, which is much appreciated. However, there are two problems with offering the modules to the XOOPS community:
1. Support issues with people not being able to figure out how to use the modules. I didn't provide a ReadMe file with the modules because I developed them for my personal use.
2. People asking for more features. The typical e-mail message requesting new features goes something like this: "Nice module, but..." These modules are exactly as I like them, so I will not be developing more features. If they are useful to you as is, great, enjoy them. If not, then learn PHP as I did to create the modules or use the PHP and HTML skills you already know to modify the modules for your needs.
I have to make this decision so I have enough time to develop my Web site, rather than constantly supporting the modules. I will therefore, not be answering e-mail messages concerning features or support, and I will no longer be posting replies on the XOOPS Web site. I will attempt to compile some of the more frequently asked questions is the FAQ section.
