Re: gsdownloads 2.0 an myBooks 2.0 Available!Hey not a prob bud! I like doing it... helps me with learning how to read the php/mysql stuff better. One thing that I did notice... When you submit a file, is there any way to have it capture the upload location in the db? Because right now it just uploads the file, and you have to manually code in the download location. But I was thinking, maybe you could have it so that it would capture the location of the file when it is uploaded. I know it can be done, because there is a tutorials module that has the ability to upload images to it, and it captures the location of the file when it uploads it. Anyway, that is just some food for thought. Other than the upload thing, it looks great. I really like how you incorped the review into the download. Very nice!!
Re: gsdownloads 2.0 an myBooks 2.0 Available!That's a great idea. I don't see why it should be a problem to caputure the upload location and store it in the database, just never thought of it! I'll take a look at it this evening and see if I can get it to work.

I installed the module then received the follow in debug mode after creating a Catergory in Admin sections:

It did create the Catergory.. So I added a file, anyway..Then I recieved this error while viewing downloads from the main menu :

Error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1

I get these same errors in all three modules, GsDownload, Books, Reviews... And their excellent Mods.. I'd really like to use them...
So I added the comment tables to database I had enough problems to just kill the db and start from scratch...
Can you explain ( try, guess ) this for me, and anyone else who has installed, flip on you debug mode see if you get the same.. Thanks...

I edited the modules so they will not display the error codes. I also fixed a problem with the display and retreival of some rating information. You can download a new copy of the modules at GiantSpider Publisher. Thanks for the excellent bug hunting!

I am using a theme that needs the functionality, and now when I came to get a copy, I find that the eevans has decided to do away with his downloads and the links are all dead.
