YAXS: WikiStudent

WikiStudent is a community site for students studying through the University of South Africa, featuring a wiki where Unisa students provide first-hand information and advice about courses they have studied.

Also of student interest is a second-hand textbook shop, study buddy finder, study notes for sharing, and photos of Unisa students.

The site aims to bring together students from all over the world, from all departments of the University of South Africa, taking the 'distance' out of distance study.

WikiStudent uses Xoops 2.0.17 and the following (great!) modules:

alumni, chess, contact_plus, facebook, frozen_bubble, googlemaps, liaise, link_to_us, myalbum, news, PDdownloads, sitemap, smartfaq, tropical, weblinks, wiwimod, xoopspoll.

We'll be 1 year old in January and have grown to nearly 2000 members already
