Some problems have been reported by users for the recent CBB 2.32 release and CBB 1.16 release.
Plz get the quickfix for the two packages:
CBB 2.32a, CBB 1.16a

We are very happy to welcome MadFish joining the Team CBB.

Also i think there are many unused lines in languages files because it's repeated.

After installing or updating, if you get a blank page do the following:
-open xoops_version.php
-goto line 29
change from:
$modversion['version'] = 2.32a;

to:
$modversion['version'] = 2.32;

that should fix your blank page problem

topics are gone after update? only shows a blanke_page with the titel of the threads, but no content. can some verify this? if i go back to v2.3.2 all is fine.

command back, after clear my cache everythings fine. only when i delete a topic, i can see still the title of the deleted topic!? if i reload the title ist away.

i've never gotten any version of cbb to work. the forums are always blank after the upgrade and i'm sure it has something to do with the templates. if there's some sort of faq or information about that, could someone give me a link?

This is the only working solution for right now.

only when i delete a topic, i can see still the title of the deleted topic!? if i reload the title ist away.

It is designed in this way. From CBB 2.30, deleting a post means turn its status from 1 to -1, instead of removing from DB directly, and will be shown in "trash can".
A post/topic can only be removed from DB completely when a moderator or webmaster removes it from trash can, or removed automatically when a pre-set expiration is met.
In this case, the topic title is accessible by moderators or webmasters (shall we refine it in some way?)

which version are you using?
what are the query errors for you?

Your version?
Your theme/template?
Did you empty cache and template_c after upgrade?

With 2.32 original(before the hotfix I mean), some persian users are experiencing problems with the new topic and new poll buttons. I just wanted to ask if this is fixed with this hotfix? (The buttons do not appear in the forum page but they appear in the topic page!)

-xoops 2.2.3
-cbb 2.3
-ps2 by montisarts (i've even tried default XOOPS theme and still have the problem)
-i emptied cache and templates_c and refreshed my page

CBB 1.15-1.16 to CBB 1.16a patch has been found here :

Note: this patch for upgrading from cbb 1.15 and cbb 1.16 to cbb 1.16a working with XOOPS 2.0.13.2 only, and if you have error with installing or upgrading please replace 1.16a to 1.16 in xoopsversion.php file.

Did you already notice that he has a serious BUG in CBB?

He doesn't put the private block as more recent, but just for author.

How to put him to appear in the private block the most recent messages?

I already tried to change the template and anything, I already ordered a post with the same doubt in the official forum of the module and to today I didn't have answer.

Can anybody remove that doubt for me?

PS: The version in the which phallus is to 1.16a, from the previous versions always had the same problem

Thanks for this release!

I am having problem displaying the topics of my forum.

I did cleaned the cache and templateC folder as suggested here, but still I cannot see the topics unless I add a new one.

suggestions?

I have recently upgraded a site to XOOPS 2.2.3a. This update also included update of CBB to version 2.32a. I have not had any problems with other modules or site functions with the 2.2.3a version of xoops, however CBB is not letting any user post to the forum. I ran the update script and reset all of the forum permissions, I also checked in the XOOPS admin groups to make sure permissions were correct. No posts, topics or categories are missing. The error I get on submitting a post says, "Could not insert forum post."

Any ideas?

I have cleared the cache and templates_c, updated the module, verified the correct version (2.32a), reset and applied the default permission template and still no ability to post new topics or reply from ANY login. All of the forum information is displaying as it did previous to the update, I just can't add anything new.

Stumped and switching to a different forum in a week. The member board that I report to is demanding this.

From which version of CBB did you upgrade?

turn on MySQL debug, check if you can get any mysql error (marked in red)
