eXtCal is an event/calendar module developed exclusively for XOOPS, it is thus integrated perfectly there.
It integrates a fine management of the right user allowing thus a great flexibility in are use. You can view it in live and find support on my web site : Zoullou.net.

This is the third and the last (i hope

) Release Candidate version, don't use on production site.
Please report any bug you find by the Bugs Tracker and give your XOOPS and PHP version.

if any catégory, i can't add an event ?
Is it ok ?

i've add a category and add permissions on this category, but in the submit page, in category listbox, there is any category (test in admin mode)

suggestion :
About images year.gif / month.gif / day.gif

When i'm on the year's page, why don"t display the year's picture without links and in aonther color (grisé)

same things for the month's picture when i'm on the month's page.

i´m missing this field "Select editor" in submit.php although in preferences html allowed on both sides using XOOPS 2.0.13.1

WYSIWYG editor isn't supported on XOOPS 2.0.13.1 but work fine with XOOPS 2.2.x

Just installed eXtCal 2.0 RC3, did a few tests but so far everything looks good. No erros at all.

The way you have integrated the different editors is a very good example for module devs. I think the users will appreciate this very much!

Wait for more reactions from other people and eXtCal should be ready for release very soon.

The only thing I miss is an option in the minical to go to the previous/next month. Is it maybe possible to have a second minical block with this option? This way people can choose what minical they want for their website. Maybe something for eXtCal 3...

Question: the colour of the current day in the calendar is light blue. There the text on my site is white it can hardly be read. Where can I change this colour?

In Minical options, you can choose preview, current or next month. You acn create an instance of minical with preview month and an other instance with current month and another with next month like on Zoullou.net. Moreover, you can choose category on Minical option. With this option you can easly create a minical bloc with event of preview, current or next month of defined category (ie event of next month in "Category 1").

You can change color of current day in templates/extcal_calendar.html at line 37 :


background-color:#B6CDE4;

Maybe i can add an option on admin side ?

Using 3x minical block for previous, current and next month takes up a lot of space on a website.
It also still doesn't give the user/visitor the possibilty to scroll through the months in minical.
That's why I think an extra minical with browse option is a slightly better solution. It gives website owners at least the chance to make their own choice what type of minical they want.
But maybe this is something for version 2.1.

If you can add this to admin side it will be easier for others.

So far I have 17 events and 6 categories, and still everything is stable!

I haven't find a good way to make navigation on minical.

I think i will try to add color select on admin side for current day.

this module is the best calendar event module for 2.0.13.1.
I have it running and it works great.
Nice and simple.

Only bug i can see is the end date...it seems to make no difference how you use it. it does not seem to do anything.<edit>sorry i refer to RC2, you may have this fixed<edit>

I am not trying to use any editors.

Just want an easy to use calendar.

repeating events and a 12hour drop down would be great additons with out making it all clutterd up.

please don't go down the path of personal calendars it will get to complicated.

Virtual Personal Calendars?

Since the Categories have permissions you have personal calendars. It would be a hassle with a lot of personal calendars though.

Ohh my, I think I can finally move away from agenda-x..Now dont get me wrong, Agenda-x is a great program... but just complicated to use for my users... Thank you soooo much

Recuring event and personal calendar could be added in future release. Submit it in Feature Request Tracker on dev.xoops.org.

@Mamba : What kind of weekly view you want. I haven't find a good way to make it. Like calendar, you have the monthly view, like list ?

nice module!
very good is available for XOOPS 2.0.13.1 the most stable XOOPS version!
addition can be made on future versions!
the only bug i`ve detected and was in zoullou site with the extcal is there..when i added me to an event on who`s going..when i`ve tryed to remove me ..not work still remains listed on that event...

This is a XOOPS Bug. It is corrected in XOOPS 2.2.3
You can replace your kernel/object.php by patched file that you can download here : object.php_for_XOOPS-2.2.2.zip.
I will correct it on my site

I notice Pical automatically allows me to download an outlook event as well.

(though it loks a little better in some ways)
