@ markwiseman: De referentie naar XOOPS is wel aanwezig hoor: <meta name="generator" content="XOOPS" /> en de flavico maakt ook een hoop duidelijk

Re: Dutch site based on XoopsYou can find the information in the FAQ. All that is legally required is that you keep the credits in the sourcecode as they are (in the php source that is). There are also quite some discussions to be found in the forum (search -> 'remove copyright' or something like that).
It is very much true that it is prefered that you visually acknowledge your use of xoops, but most certainly not required.
Re: Dutch site based on XoopsThere's no requirement to display a credit for XOOPS on the web pages (See this thread) However, AFAIK you are required to display a credit to 7dana if you use their themes.
