Description
This theme is the Xoops port of the popular, stylish, open-source Kubrick theme.

This is a fixed-width, two column theme. The XHTML and CSS is standards compliant. It will scale as far down as 800x600, and has been tested in Internet Explorer 6.0, FireFox 1.0, Opera 7.5, and Konquerer. It was set up to look good with a simple install, but also to be easy to customize.

This theme is exactly what a need atm. Building a new website right now and this theme will ensure a nice look for it.

Does it support 2.0.10? Cause it gives table overlapping results with my xoops(2.0.10) installtion.
So when are we getting the upgrade?

What excatly do you mean by overlapping? I use it on 2.0.10 and have no such problems.

yes, at some modules (i.e. news and piCal) the text is overlapping (overlaying) the right menu.

But I think it's easy to solve when u edit the template files. Not tried yet.

nop, you don't have to edit the templates, just the theme.html file.

The following is displayed at the top:

after: '$display_wide =' enter the module (dirname) that you want to display without any blocks next to it. Unless a module needs a width more then 800* it won't overlap. If it does need more, well, it would need some edditing...

Did try that yeah. There are two solutions for that problem: Either select all blocks to display on all modules (multiselect every module instead of selecting only 'all pages') and the blocks won't show when going to system pages. If you have a module selected to show on your startpage that is the best solution.

the second solution is to do some core-editing, but only if your sure you want to keep this theme as your default theme I guess. The reason it overlaps is basically caused by the timezone dropdown. Edit it so it will only show 1 or 2 cities

Maybe it's not so much a theme problem, but a core problem. IMHO pages like edit profile should fit without overlapping in these kind of themes. I know Mith is working on the profilesystem In 2.1/2.2, I’ll take a look at the nightly asap and see if there is any change concerning this. (templates for pages like this instead of hardcoded maybe)

Thanks for helping out with troubleshooting, ladon! I didn't even realize this whole conversation was going on till animas pointed it out.

I hadn't considered that the changes in the "edit profile" issue might be resolved in 2.2. If not, I'm going to have to figure out something there. That's something I wanted to have fixed for the next release. I'm also planning to add horizontal menus for those times when the sidebar isn't around.

But before I get to that I'm going to release a flexible-width version (getting close) and probably also a left-hand-side-sidebar version.

Nice job Kava. Would be even sharper if you replaced the "downloads" "Web links" etc. header art with something that matched your main theme.
