The URLs (including the associate id) are generated by amazon at the time that you select them in the admin interface, and then they are stored in the database.
If you want to change the associate ID for any reason, then you will need to update all the books/products in your database. Otherwise they will still use the old associate ID.
To correct this, you can simply delete and re-enter the books. That's the easiest, and recommended way.
If you have a lot of books, you could hack a bit.
You can change
$field_list = array("OurPrice", "Asin");
$field_list = array("OurPrice", "Asin", "Url");

I haven't tried with other amazon countries (until now!). There may be other issues that I haven't figured out yet.
But if you want to try some hacking, here's where you can start:
in admin/asearch.php
change $wsdl = ...
to
$wsdl = 'http://soap-eu.amazon.com/schemas3/AmazonWebServices.wsdl'
and then down inside the function xamazon_search_base, after the line $params['tag'] = $associate_id; add
$params['locale'] = "uk";
Then in include/bookstore_includes.php, in function bookstore_get_modes_base, change $modes to use the modes for your country. You can find the list in the Amazon Web Services SDK (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aws/landing.html ), under "Working with International Web Services".
But to get you started, in the UK, it says books becomes books-uk, same for dvd, vhs, electronics, kitchen, software, and toys. videogames becomes video-games-uk. music and classical are unchanged, and the others are listed as not available in the UK.
Let me know how this works, as I haven't tried it!

Is your bookstore on a public server I can look at? If so, can you post the URL?
Are you trying to run with the short URLs hack? That doesn't seem to be compatible with xooperstore. If this is the case, we have gotten them to work somewhat, but there are issues.
Let me know if it's a short URLs issue.

Re: XooperStoreI disabled it as it was not working but I do have short urls installed. I have the version that is dynamic instead of the one that you have to change each module to work with it.
Re: XooperStoreTom, Thanks again for a superb module! Xooperstore is very easy to setup and use, even more so now you have integrated the developers token. I especially like the help file... its great to see this idea being adopted by developers.
cptwinky ... I know the problem you have with the shortURLs hack. I have contacted Reynaldo about this and he is working on it! The dynamic version04 is not as flexible as we thought. I personally favour an option to turn the hack off, but we will have to see what happens about this.

Any ideas?????????

I did at least drop test it, so I know it somewhat works. If I make the changes described (I just applied them to a clean copy, so I know there's no other magic) I at least get prices back in pounds, instead of dollars.
What query were you trying? Do you have it running somewhere that I could try?

In 1.00 of XooperStore, the maximum number of items displayed in each category is determined by a setting in the Configuration section of XooperStore administration. The default is 6, but you can set it to any number.
The current version does not support paging, so you should set the limit to some high number if you have large categories.
And I'm testing a version with paging support now.

Re: XooperStore Amazon Bookstore releasedI tried your module, and it worked fine on my pc running a localhost, but when I uploaded it to my site I couldn't get a list of products to show when doing a select products setup. That pretty much renders it useless without being able to add a product. Any fix for this type of bug?
I'll try a reinstall just for the heck of it. maybe It got chewed in the upload or somthing.
