Looked very good so I dl and followed the instructions. But it doesn't work. 
I copied the files over, then did a module update, the "do you want to update this module" requester appears. After clicking yes, I get a blank page with only the leftmost admin modules. Normally I should get a list of updates done.
After that I can't get the new block to display.
Any idea what goes wrong?
Would love to have it working.

just try update another module and look if you have the same problem or not

Have tried to remove the NewsBB and copy over the dir from a backup (actually from the running site as this is done in my "sandbox") and updtaed that one. Worked. But if I uses the scroll-update, I cannot update the module without faults.

I just realized, that I am running XOOPS 2.0.2 on the site I tested it with (I am running 2.0.6 on a completely different site, so I mix up the versions).
It might be, that I have to update to 2.0.6 before it works.
I will give it another try when I get around to update my XOOPS.
