And if I have my way Xoops will be getting better with this, not worse. I am in the beginning stages of becoming a security specialist so we shall see what fun I can have down the road. I have some ideas but it will take time.

If a user is unable to install XOOPS which can be done in ones sleep,
then said user is beta in a VHS world.

If the host does not provide the user with a simple FTP connection so the user can install (simple to install) XOOPS:

then the host is beta in a VHS world

And from a security perspective (which you may not care about):
Better Beta and secure, than VHS and fair game.

I think Ben Franklin said that....
