Image manager won't display images

I cant get any images to load that I upload to the image manager. I click on the image and the JQuery won't load it and I even put the image path (http://mywebsite.com/uploads/images/img51b9fc770a70f.jpg) directly into the browser and get this error message.

/services/users/7a9c1029-dfe6-490d-b3c4-cf6acdd3ec15/cybermatrix/www/mywebsite.com/uploads/images/.htaccess: Option ExecCGI not allowed here




I googled this error and tried several .htaccess scripts but nothing works. And I double-checked all the CHMOD permissions for the image directories and they are also correct.

Am I missing a permission somewhere?
Any help is appreciated.

Did you try without a .htaccess script in /uploads ?

Yes. I tried the .htaccess because of google. with or without it, the images dont load.
