but do not in XOOPS modules,. How can I add in xnews module?
would like to add In News_block_top.html .
In this block there for the latest news, most voted, most read.
How do I add to this block News with most comments to display?

As i told you in xoops.ir local persian website This feature "A block for items that have most comments" is really needed for any module like news, gallery, xnews, publisher, downloads, ...

But IMO the best solution is to have a "comment module" as a extension in xoops 2.6
Then that comment module can have some blocks like:
- most commented items (You can select your desired modules from the list of your websites modules. eg: only xnews, news and extgallery, ...)
- most visited comments
- most rated comments
- top sender users (users that sent most comments)
- ...
then we can add any feature or any other block.

There are many features related for comments.
we really need a very professional comment system.
please dont think we dont need it because we have newbb forums.
a news related website dont need a forum so we should have a comment module.

Maybe Voltan can take some time for it.
Also i think i can take some time to find a temporary solution.
But as always it is a matter of time :D

news version 1.6.x have old codes and add new option is not easy. but add new blocks in my new news module is easyer. I hope I can work on it
