#1 Posted on: 2011/10/17 7:01 register.php : caption marker displayed for all fields
All caption fields have a * but Website information is not required, just asked :

$reg_form->addElement(new XoopsFormText(_US_WEBSITE, 'url', 25, 255, $myts->htmlSpecialChars($url)));

If I add :

$reg_form->addElement(new XoopsFormText(_US_WEBSITE, 'url', 25, 255, $myts->htmlSpecialChars($url)), false);

... nothing happens

... seems to be a simple conflict with my css instructions. If I'm not wrong there at least are both instructions to display / hide *

.xoops-form-element-caption .caption-marker {}
.xoops-form-element-caption-required .caption-marker {}

... but it not works in all cases.

Not clear for me, and you ?

I like simplicity, so I use "blanktheme" found here : http://sourceforge.net/projects/xoofo ... hemes/interface_publique/

The same for me, I can't reproduce it : I have installed a new Xoops 2.5.3 with blanktheme and all * are displayed for required fields :
- on register page
- on contact form (xforms 1.2)

I'm sorry to waste your (precious) time
