On a brand new install of XOOPS 2.4.4 I have users that are able to create an account, and log in, but then if the navigate anywere they get this message:

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Class XoopsProfileHandler does not exist

At first I thought this was a cookie problem. And indeed deleting the cookies for one user did seem to help, but now it's happening on other users.

I am having the same problem with the profile module with XOOPS 2.4.4 & Cbb (both 3.08 & 4rc). No registered user is able to visit the forum.

Kindly help

After more digging it seems the problem is not related to user profile module. Even when I disable the module, Registered users can not access cbb. All other modules work fine.

Also cbb can be accessed by the webmaster. A non-registered user can also access the forum but once you login, then on trying to access cbb 3.08 or cbb 4rc2, gets the following error

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

Further it seems to be a problem with cbb as if in preferences I mention the "Forum for welcoming new user" as None, then it all works fine. But if I choose a forum from the dropdown list then this error takes place.

Is there a way to direct a new user to a specific forum after registeration without the above error.????

The welcome message forum is not about redirecting the new users, but to have a forum with automatic messages (generated by newbb) with a welcome message in it to the new user, who has posted its first message (in the forum of its choice).
It seems this welcome function, was only working with the XOOPS 2.2.x series. So, don't activate it.
