Thanks to our friends at XOOPS France (Burning and others), we have a new Installation Guide for XOOPS 2.3.x.

(note : This tutorial gives details about a fresh installation of a XOOPS 2.3 website. It doesn’t cover the updating of an existing XOOPS website.)

Very nice... when we find time, we will probably do something similar for nordic users..

Wery nice guide!

But why install in ISO encoding, when it's a new installation?

If You don't get in contact with Rune, then PM mee
Rune translate to Norwegian and I translate to Danish

The reason was that Anders and Rune were also a members of another Group, and registered members didn't have a permission in Ext. User Profile to see the profiles of this group. So even if everybody has the right to see profiles of all registered members, if somebody is a member of another group without explicitly allowing others to see the profiles of that group, this overrides the general permit.

If Anders and Rune where member of the registered users, as is Burning, then (if registered users may see each others profile) Burning should be able to see their profile, no matter to which other groups they belong.
If not, it is a bug.
