I need to know is it possible to remove a "redirection" grom my website? I am using News module as default, so when user enterhttp://www.soft-news.net (my domain), he is redirected athttp://www.soft-news.net/modules/news/ which is bad for search engines optimization.

Is it possible to have justhttp://www.soft-news.net on main page and /modules/module_name/ when user clicks any other link? Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you are asking, but under preferences you can make it so that the start page for your site is not the news page. Then of course they would be able to seclect "news" from the main menu.

Well, i need a different way. I want News index to be displayed instead of main index (which redirects to news module), so when user enters a domain, he see news, but not any /modules/news/ links.

Re:Redirection

one way to accomplish this is to use the spotlight module and set its block to display on the 'Top Page' only.

* you'll notice that this is exactly how xoops.org is setup currently. The sections displayed on the home page are all blocks displayed on just the top page.
