I thought Captcha and reCaptcha were cracked.
Couldn't a simple question be appended to the login like; is snow black or white? or a set of simple questions that aletrnate randomly?
Is that hard to do? Wouldn't that beat a bot?

I had ZOX installed. I remember that I had to change the css files in modules\zox\includes\templates\template_default\css to make changes... but I didn't explicitly test those effects with different XOOPS themes, only the one I was using.

Appended: I looked at your site, and I had different results with the default installation. (2.5/default theme).

Yes, you are correct. Users cannot change their email address (on this site)... there is no trick. I can't change mine either.
I am not sure exactly why that's true, but I can think of a couple of non-technical reasons; security and abuse come to mind.

P.S. I think Mamba was working on this as part of the big fix for the Module Pack, so there is probably a 'better' revision... though that may change with core changes.
Maybe you should check with him.

Hello marmotte,
odd thing. I suppose someone will provide a more sensible solution, but I did something like that once with phpAdmin.
I located the User table in one db, then copied and pasted it into the other. That worked for me.
