I recently moved to hostpapa.co.uk

One hosting plan, three prices depending upon how long you sign up.

Has everything I could want in terms of features (pretty-much unlimited everything), free domain for life (I transferred in my exisiting domain), is every bit as quick as my last host and there's an environmental element to it as well.

Used tech support once so far - issue sorted very promptly.

So far very pleased.

Is it possible to do this using the MySQL file, i.e. writing the default permissions into the tables after the module installation creates the table?

Hi,

For most webhosting packages, your html/php/xoops files will reside in a folder called something like:

xxxxx/home/htdocs

The warning message is saying that, in order to be safer, your xoops_lib and xoops_data folders (and subdirectories) should be in a different directory and preferebly one that can't be read by others, e.g.

xxxxx/home

If you can, move these directories there and edit mainfile.php to reflect the change.

However, with some hosting you are not allowed to access this directory yourself.

Hi,

CBB uses the date format set in locale.php (same directory as global.php).

<coughs>It's in the upgrade instructions<coughs>

Does this mean that you're all sorted out and happy, and that your have access to everything you should have?

If so then "yay"

Can we assume that you've done the "checksum" check on the system files when you upgraded? Might be a missing/corrupt file.

Also, have you "updated" the system/core modules in Admin since the upgrade? If not then it might help if you do.

Assuming you mean the meta data that appears in the <head> sections of your pages' code (e.g. when viewing the source code via your browser), have you tried:

Admin>Preferences>Meta Tags and Footer?

Otherwise it'll be set in a module somewhere. For certain it'll be in the database rather than in mainfile.php or any other files.
