#1 Posted on: 2007/9/5 1:02 My longest day ever
My afternoon started with calling the fire department about the fire that was burning near my home.

Me: I'm calling for information about the fire behind my house. Is it under control?

FD: There is only one structure threatened at this time.

Me: I am the only house around for twelve miles.

FD: Oh. You probably should evacuate.

Needless to say I gathered up what I needed and left when the fire department arrived. I wasn't permitted back until about 10pm this evening. The fire burned completely around the house with only a bit of smoke and heat damage but the structure is fine. The majority of the damage was to my solar power system but thankfully I have a backup generator. There is a half inch of soot on my internet satellite dish but it seems to work so far. Lots to clean tomorrow but I am thankful my house was saved.

Just needed to vent.

Flawless. I upgraded from 2.0.16 to 2.0.17 on a live server and did a fresh install of 2.0.17 on a test server. Both installed without a problem and so far so good. Good job.

I could not have stated this better(and I am a writer)!

Can I ask if this thread has some sort of *official* sanction, ie. will the views expressed by the community be considered by the management? Or is it an 'unofficial' thread which will be totally ignored?

I would like an answer to this also. It is time DJ to settle this. Please post an official message in regards to the status of the forums. Will community support be moving to XI or will they be restructured here according to this thread? Regardless of what decisions have been made in the past, there needs to be a clear and concise answer which needs to be adhered to. This community deservers that.

I have to agree.

I have remained silent on this, however the actions of Damaster and his little band of cronies have forced me to speak. I cannot accept the fact that this group of individuals has been able to spread their poison throughout this community with absolutely no action from the XOOPS management. In an effort to move this project forward I am proposing to the current XOOPS management team to please:

REMOVE DAMASTER AND HIS POISON IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANANTLY!

Call it censorship, naziism, or any of the other demeaning terms you and your cohorts have used against persons in this community and management. It is your hatred and the disgusting way that you present yourself that has kept me from participating on the forum and has kept this project from moving forward.

The time to act is now. I ask the XOOPS management to act swiftly and show some respect for the many that have spent countless hours contributing in a POSITIVE way to this community and remove those who choose not to do so.

Make sure you are using the latest version 1.07 available HERE. The install.txt file is in the docs folder.

#10 Posted on: 2006/12/1 15:21 Re: Windows installation
I have no problems running this module with Xampp. Check your XOOPS version as I believe timesheetxoops will only run on 2.0 and installs as any other module. I believe most recent version is 1.23 available here.. The README file in the package contains the install instructions.
