The image manager shows 15 images in a category before he create site 2,3.. and on. In which file can i change the numbers that the image manager shows me more than 15, ex. 30 or 45.

I have questions, request und usage to that module, what is really very interesting, because its more or less the only xoops content module module its not overloaded.

First, more and more user ask "me" for a module to crate static content. Boox module can do that, but the users stand in front of the problem what can or should i do with the pages they create. They cannot include file path in theme, for the most people its to difficult.

So my first question, is it a security problem to make it as below:
I create a php file in the boox module folder and calles them business.php. In that file i copy a part of @trabis dummy module:



I crate a .htaccess file in the root folder:



So i´m able to call the page as domain/business.html and have nice url. Blocks with preferences to show on all sites are visible. Can it be a security problem to do it in that way?

A more or less problem i see is, the content is not store in the database and the module has no search. Is it possible to include a (site) search and or is it possible to include the tag module?

If that will work, xoops has an excellent, clean content module with a simple content handling, nice url´s and you can include jquery scripts and more. And the module will show up in the block administration/handling, that will give you more options!

I try&test now two times the installation with the .zip package, it seems there is a problem. I download and extract the .7z files - no problems. That means, the problem with the profile module are solved for me!

Only the bug with the calendar ist still exist, what i cannot understand, where is the bug? With the english language files it works without any problem. With german or spanish language files we must modify the /class/xoopsform/formtextdateselect.php. After it will work. I merge all language files, there is only one different, the time fomat is d.m.Y

Anyway - my frustration in that point gone for now, i can work!

I ask me and sorry - for what we have a german community? For german language files not and this is a point that makes me only sad. One user @yerres did create some, they are not complete but i´m sure he gave his best, thanks for that.

First problem, the german install language files has a wrong path for the icons, they tiny_mce files have corrupt lang files, the tiny_mce plugins have not one german lang files and and and ...

It really makes me pissed. Did you change the profile module and did not supplies new lang files or is it a new bug in the module. The english and german lang files suddenly not work in parts.

Where is the problem and will someone look at it or will we live with the error? Sorry for the thread, but i must install ten new xoops with several problems, its really frustrating.

I can only say it from my sight, i think it makes no sense to work on it for the 2.5.5 version of xoops. Only if you must fix and let it go into the 2.6.x version, otherwise you have to go some steps backward.

If you can fixt it without pain and hours for investigation, ok. For me it is not a problem, allow me to say it is important we have a multilanguage solution in the future.

If i remember right, the xlanguage module was developed to show content in different languages and not in the first place to show core language files.

Thanks for reply. First, we use our own german language files, we complete theme selve and did not visit or use the german community. All files we have from here (sourceforge). We compare the profile module language files, and i think in case of Heinz they are complete, because as before we have the core files from sourceforge and if the language files there complete, the german language files are also complete!

That u see some non-standard fields in the profile module on the Heinz installation, he create some extra fields, but as an example the fields time zone or email address are standad fields and they will also not change the entries from german to english.

I will grabb again the english language files from sourceforge so we can compare again abd give you a reply.

Michael, Heinz is a friend of mine, so i know his installation, sometimes i help him with different things. I can confirm this problem, we have two clean and new installation (one on the same another on a different server), there we have exactly the same problem.

In the case from Heinz there was a upgrade, but the former installation was in german. On my new installation german but we both have for all modules english and german lang files.

Further on Heinz installation all language files (include the profile module) complete, in english and german. The only question i or we have is, you did not upgrade the changelog file of the module, on XOOPS 2.5.5 did we need the extra files for the smarty plugins (class and framework)?

We host on the same and different server:
XOOPS 2.5.5
PHP 5.3.18
MySQL 5.1.56

and all conditions/requirements are complied.
