Then first install 2.0.16 with all these modules, then when they are installed...over write the tables data so the information is now placed into the installed modules....
As for problems with 2.2.4, we just upgraded from 2.0.15 to 2.2.5rc2...and found it more stable not less.

helo every 1.. iam just want to ask if XOOPS support still alive ? coz i have some problems.. and i think no 1 answering me.. pls... can XOOPS support help me just for one.. my problem is I want to shift my XOOPS 2.2.4 to the latest version XOOPS 2.0.16 (released 2006/11/17). can any 1 give me steps how to do it... or some tips whats my 1st move.. coz i think theres a lot of changes after it.. maybe not all of my modules are working, maybe not all of my themes are working too... pls.. any1 here from support help me coz all we know that XOOPS 2.2.4 have many bugs.. i want to shift.. pls.. help

If the new server has an older sql version you might need to remove the DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 from your sql dump by search and replace.
If the other server is still up and running you could do a new export using compatability mode for sql v4.0 or such Its an export option in phpmyadmins export page.

my webhosting company told me that we are going to transfer to other server.... so i back it up...my plan is to install again another XOOPS at new server... but the version is 2.0.14 so that it so stable and secure... so i installed the 2.0.14.. then i tried to query just the values that i need like xoops_users table... problem is.. i think tables in 2.0.14 and 2.2.4 is different thats why when i tried to query it.. it gives me an errorQuote:... any idea how can i convert something the .sql ? i cant install again the 2.2.4 to the new server becoz the MySQL version of it is different.. pls.. help me whats the best to do

I did transfered it to other hosting.. just reinstall XOOPS then insert all values in the database i needed.. like forum, users etc... in the module myalbum.. i just query _myalbum_cat, _myalbum_photos , and _myalbum_text tables.. and also xoopscomments.... all values are inserted.. but.. i have problems in xoopscomments.. i think comments are not working.. photos and descriptions are working but just the comments will not appear... i rechecked all.. i know i did right in querying.. i also updated the myalbum module and system... still not working.. just the comments not appearing..
