Too bad, the applet-uploader isn't functioning as well as it should do. Every 22 images i get the following error:
Resized Image

I'm getting the error with Chrome, as well as Internet Explorer and when i wait, like, half a minute i can hit the Upload button again whereafter it processes another 22 images from the queue. The images that get processes show up correctly on the approval page and after approving in the album.

Finally, i moved on with extGallery. Ran out of time for a little while due to school, and went working with it again today.

I encountered a strange sort of bug i guess. When i only create a few albums with sub-albums the adding of images works fine, but when i add a lot more albums and sub-albums the photos won't come throught the batch processer properly.

It leaves me with the 'broken image' icon instead of the thumbnails in the image-approve screen. When i try to approve the images anyway does that 'work', but when i browse to the extGallery on my website the images aren't added properly as well, with only the 'broken image' icon as well.

'Error' in the approval screen:
Resized Image

How it turns out in the gallery itself after trying to approve the images anyway:
Resized Image

However, when i use the in-browser java applet to upload images it works fine
I am still running Xoops 2.5.6, with PHP 5.4.4, any ideas on how i can troubleshoot this issue?

Private messaging, Shoutbox and the obsolete xoopschat all like to use that background image which unfortunately requires a hack to remove. I have never run into a situation where these images in blocks did not stick out like a sore thumb.

I just installed SB5.0.1, dragged the block into the right column, opened the blocks edit dialog and selected admin and registered users (as opposed to setting in group permissions as you did). Logged on as both and was able to successfully shout back and forth with no problem.

Shoutbox footer displays:

"Powered by xuups"

Hmm, you're right. When i put my "testing" user account from one of my own created usergroups to the "registered users" group, and login with that account, i am able to use the shoutbox!

Weird, though that users who are in a self-created group can't use the SB and users in a system-created group can...

Hi,

Being busy with putting my Xoops site back online, I noticed that the chatmodule Shoutbox doesn't work anymore. Previously on Xoops 2.3.x it worked like a charm, but know, the only usergroup able to use the shoutbox-block is the ones for the admins.

The other usergroups get to see the block, but in the area where the posted chats are supposed to be, there is my Xoops website like an iframe, with a Xoops error message, stating that the users hasn't got the right permissions to visit that section of the website....

I've double-checked my permissions-settings in the for the usergroups and am sure that they've got the Access Permission for the Shoutbox set.

You guys have any suggestions?

However i'm quite satisfied and pleased with the way xg2 stores the pictures. The albums created just appear as folders in the gallerydata folder with the corresponding pictures in them...

Is there perhaps a way that i can keep using the folderlike storage of pictures within extGallery? Perhaps with some (customised) use of the extGallery's batchfolder?*/

Addition 2:
I am trying to get extGallery to work, but am struck by the fact that it seems that video's aren't supported... Am i right?

Hi,

As i messed up my Xoops site before in the past due to bad upgrading, i'd like to be sure i am using the correct upgrading guide. Is it true that i have to follow this guide:
Xoops 2.5.7 installation guide @ GitBooks, to upgrade my Xoops installation from 2.5.6 to 2.5.7.1`?

Kind regards!

Hi,

I would like to add a twitter feed to my website, so i created a widget within twitter,
and pasted the code into a custom block, but now the created feed stays narrow, about
< half of the blockwidth. The code created by the twitter widgetcreator is:

<class="twitter-timeline" href="https://twitter.com/NannievdWiele" data-widget-id="604389739987341312">Tweets door @NannievdWiele</a>
<
script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

The block shows up as:
Resized Image

Do you guys have any experience on how to add a twitter feed to a xoops website?

I am stuck (i guess) on exporting the users en usergroups to the xg2 module. Installing and configuring the module went fine, but when i visit the module from the website, after exporting users and groups through the adminpanel, the only two menu-options i've got are "Add album to cart" and "Mount with WebDAV".

I have re-installed the module, and tried to re-export the users and groups, after deleting those exported users and groups by deleting the corresponding sql tables from the database. Besides the fact that i've only got the two said options, don't receive any error messages on visiting the xg2 module.

When i turn on the debug mode and visit the xg2 module, i get the following errors (translating "melding" = notification, "in bestand" = in file, "regel" = line, "waarschuwing" = warning in Dutch):

Melding: Use of undefined constant _MI_TDMDOWNLOADS_BNAME5 - assumed '_MI_TDMDOWNLOADS_BNAME5' in bestand /modules/TDMDownloads/xoops_version.php regel 96

Melding: Use of undefined constant _MI_TDMDOWNLOADS_BNAMEDSC5 - assumed '_MI_TDMDOWNLOADS_BNAMEDSC5' in bestand /modules/TDMDownloads/xoops_version.php regel 97

Waarschuwing: xoopsOption[template_main] should be defined before including header.php in bestand /footer.php regel 59

I am running XOOPS 2.5.6 with PHP 5.4.4-14+deb7u9 on Debian 3.2.57-3 and as i am unfortunately unfamiliar with the use of SVN repositories i have uploaded the module as i am using it right now, with the updated 'core' from the GalleryProject website which i tried to make it work with xoops 2.5.x again, on my server:
xg2.1_Technicum_29-05-2015_09.14amGMT+01.rar

I have considered to switch to extGallery, but i'm not sure on what the most efficient way would be, from porting the ±12000 pictures from my xg2-gallery to extGallery, any suggestions? Because putting them all through the batch-tool in the admin section seems to be painstaking task :o.
