You can also set the default theme in the same place.

I have been using PsPad.
It is much like a normal text editor but it highlights the code for you.

Ah, yes it does.
But I am having trouble fishing through all the news related topics.
I use MSN messenger, I am always signed in, I dont understand why it is prompting me to sign into passport.
I also removed the 'packaged' messenger with the netmeeting stuff when I installed XP.
It only seems to popup when I am in the file manager 'explorer'.
Dunno, thanks for the help anyways.

It seems that any time I open explorer (Not IE) on my XP machine I get a popup prompting me to sign into .net passport.
I cant seem to find anything related to it on the internet.
Anyone have a link or any information on this?

Nice site! Good read too
Thanks for the offer, but I am set on a block.
I've got to learn sometime, and now is it!
I will post back here if I dont give up before it is finished.

Any help anyone could offer on my task would be greatly appreciated.

Try logging into www.youraddress.com/admin and uninstall the module to get your page back up.
Some modules may be outdated and cause the blank screen of death.
Sorry I'm new, I cant give you relevant info on the module itself.

I wish to have a flat view of 10 or so news articles in a block for my home page.
The news module display is exactally what I am looking for, but it does not have a block.
Can someone suggest another module that can do this, or help me in a hack to allow my news to be displayed in a block?
