for the moment this hack is made for one my client and is not compatible for other xoops.

It was suggested in This News Topic to make it a public release.

I was just seconding the motion.

But with in using 2.2.5 and the profiles module it should be a chalage to convert it to 2.0.16 or 17 as it should be out in a few weeks.

no... i prefer take my time to encrease functions, make better the friend sistem and hack in general and then release it...

no,no, not the your hack

thow it would be nice for it to be that quick and for it to work in 2.0.17 when it comes out, after Marcan, returns, but thats a shot in the dark.

I know your hack, sofar, only works on 2.2.5

but yes, good things do take time.

sorry but is not a module... is an "big" hack for the moment.

I prefer release it when all is done...

if i make it public risk confusion...

in my opinion the best way is release it when is done.

IMO if you are truly interested in sharing this, the best way to do so would be to share it with core devs.

This is truly beautiful work, and it would be both an honor for you and an honor for us if it were included in the next release of XOOPS.

A touch like this will give XOOPS users something truly fantastic to look forward to.

I do hope that you will consider releasing this to the devs so that they may do what they can to integrate your hack into the core.
